could a regular blender do that or does it have to be a really powerful one

momz2gd October 13, 2011 at 2:18 pm

What about real protein sources? I used to have a protein deficiency. Can you just eat seeds and nuts?

SuperSickdoc October 13, 2011 at 2:51 pm

@SuperSickdoc also some viruses and bacteria can live in an alkaline enviroment, for example our stomach is acidic and out small intestines are alkaline and in both enviroments we have natural gut flora…

God , i Love this woman’s energy… motivates me to buy a dehydrator to make those cracker recipe’s and stuff :) – even more than before when i wanted to buy one for the Raw Pizza recipe’s on youtube ^_^ :D

And i never really used pears in my smoothie.. however , never heard before that they smoothie-fy the smoothie :) – will try !

maliceinw0nderland1 October 13, 2011 at 5:03 pm

I want you to walk in with a glass of that green goodness and that beautiful smile and say good morning to me!

ThePhantomLash October 13, 2011 at 5:23 pm

You are right that we have all that undigested stuff in our guts rancidifying if thats how you spell it. Is it possible to break it down through foods and probitoics, as i have had a few tests from doctors and they want to put tube up the bum and take x-rays and all that stuff. I eat rubbish and have only just found you, Donna Gates and Don Tolman which i am very fond of ….. Do you have a book or some tips. Can i break down stuff that has been there for years ?

blythemetz October 13, 2011 at 5:57 pm

@eldrama2 I’ve never seen that symbol. I don’t sell the enzymes, I have no financial interest in the products, I just think they are helpful for those wanting to heal from something or improve overall health and energy. Most commercially grown produce is irradiated. I will look for that symbol. Thanks for letting me know.

eldrama2 October 13, 2011 at 6:18 pm

our commercially grown produce is not irradiated. the FDA approved some products but they must be labeled as irradiated with the radura symbol. (a green circle around a flower). i see you sell enzymes on your website. interesting.

One problem alot of our fresh veg is GMO there is 10 hydro calories extra in each tomato etc pesticides and un-nutritional soil where it is grown from, I dont trust any food that is given here in uk each tomato looks the same and every veg looks the same in the shop.

datsik433 October 13, 2011 at 7:16 pm

This chic’s off the hook I like her allot

TheLoserKingdom October 13, 2011 at 8:02 pm

@blythemetz I love this, it tastes so nice. Just a few things people should know; add a fair amount of water so it doesn’t become a soup and when making juices or smoothies, try not to add opposite colours. Purple Kale does NOT go well with green Kale and spinach. I think it was off too! But apart from that this is a great pick me up and gives you so much energy. My stomach ache went after having a glass.

blythemetz October 13, 2011 at 8:10 pm

@TheLoserKingdom sure, you can use purple kale. Tasty.

TheLoserKingdom October 13, 2011 at 8:37 pm

What about purple Kale?

TheLoserKingdom October 13, 2011 at 8:53 pm

@elanjuliette Grow your own stuff! But go by season.

TheLoserKingdom October 13, 2011 at 9:35 pm

Manuka honey and raw apple cider vinegar with warm water makes a great, healthy and anti-bacterial tonic! I should have some now.

elanjuliette October 13, 2011 at 9:44 pm

@TheHitez Same here! I’m a college student and I’m so excited to start a raw food diet, I just don’t know how I’m going to be able to afford the tools (like a dehydrator) and all the organic food, organic is so much more expensive than regular produce. Suggestions??

blythemetz October 13, 2011 at 11:03 pm

For fresh produce, here’s how; The numbers on the sticker either begin with a 4, 8, or 9. 9 IS ORGANIC. 4 is conventional, and 8 or 5 is genetically modified. So always look at the little sticker on the apples, tomatoes, bananas, etc. and make sure it starts with a 9. For other goods, USDA organic should be trustworthy. Thanks for buying organic! It’s best for you and earth!

CSFP123 October 13, 2011 at 11:07 pm

my question is how will I know where to find a place that sells “actual” organic produce, etc.? cause I’ve heard stories that even in supermarkets that claim to have a section that sells organic that its the same as the produce they normally put out therefore ripping people off for their money? so let me know how I can tell who and where sells organic produce? thank you

TheHitez October 14, 2011 at 12:06 am

about how much does this cost, say per week? I am a poor college student, but I want to start a raw food diet right now!

SacredWombman October 14, 2011 at 12:38 am

Breakfast today: 2 nectarines, 3 mangoes and 1 banana

melodiouscanopies October 14, 2011 at 5:10 am

I had a green smoothie and a raw portobello almond cheese mcmuffin….well that’s what i call it, it was on raw bread, mmmm.

soulfulll October 14, 2011 at 5:28 am

@annie6891 yes it can but i personally don’t think she ate enough. raw food is more filling than cooked.

Elijahdaughter October 14, 2011 at 5:58 am

this does not look good or filling. I wish someone would tell me where to find food eaten by real people. I cannot not work, think or walk on this.

TeenageRawFoodist October 14, 2011 at 6:35 am

I food processed some prunes, goji berries, almonds, scrambled eggs, stevia powder, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon and cloves. Hmmm, tasted good! :-)
